- Megan usually sleeps with her two favourite bears, Yellow Bear and Pink Bear. This night she decides to invite a third into her bed: gingerbread man. He's small, stuffed, with hard plastic eyeballs. In the middle of the night Megan wakes up to pee. Daddy takes her to the bathroom. She's not alone; she's accompanied by Yellow Bear, Pink Bear, and Gingerbread Man. While she's sitting on the throne she wakes up a little bit and says, "Daddy, sleeping with two bears and a gingerbread man is a lot of work." She leaves Gingerbread Man with me and goes back to bed.

- Megan is with Mommy waiting for Gramma at the airport. They call Daddy and Megan says, "Daddy where are you?" Daddy replies, "I'm at work." Megan says, "What are you doing?" Daddy says, "Working on my computer." Megan says, "What colour is it?" "Daddy says, "Black." Satisfied, Megan says: "Okay, bye!"

- Daddy is leaving for work and Megan says, "Daddy I love you... when I grow up will you marry me?" Daddy says no because he's her daddy and Megan looks truly distraught. What can I say? Kid's got taste.

- While at Reznor's baptism lunch, Uncle Doug said he was going to eat Megan's fingers. Megan replied, "no Uncle Doug, humans don't eat other humans."
